quantum questions for dummies 2011

dadapost, berlin
curated by marcel hager and howard mccalebb

'Quantum Questions for Dummies' is a body of work informed by popular interest in some of the more abstract and speculative ideas regarding the structure of the universe being explored in contemporary physics and astronomy. The work has been facilitated through dialogue with astronomers at Armagh Observatory.

The work takes the form of a series of folded sculptural forms which reference how space might be bent and distorted. These are accompanied by various animations dotted throughout the installation, which speculate about of various imagined structures and events in the universe.

With thanks to Armagh Observatory.
