Map outling dynamics of Holy Cross School Protest, Ardoyne, Belfast.
Loyalists blocked the route taken by primary school children to Holy
Cross school. Parents had to take children through a police cordon to
get the children past abusive loyalists every morning and evening to
get to the school. The protest dragged on for several months with violent
and far reaching consequences. drawn by Stevie, Ardoyne resident June
2001.
