Terra Infirma started with a weeklong Instagram takeover by myself and Dougal McKenzie during the first lockdown phase in May 2020. I posted images of recent 'text' drawings, Dougal responded with sketches on WhatsApp of one and the same view through a hedge on his daily walks. The exhibition shows the ongoing dialogue that came out of our weekend insta takeover.
We installed the work in the PS2 project space in March 2021. It was a virtual show only seen online, due to the Coronavirus Lockdown regulations. Given the format we also produced downloadable zine to print out at home. In addition we produced a scrolling text piece and a sound piece of extracts from the collaborative dialogue. The audio piece formed the sondtrack of a film of the show produced by Leander Mutshcler.
